The Last of Sheyenne (Japanese: ラスト・オブ・シャイアン) is the twenty-second and final episode of the Wild Arms Twilight Venom anime.
Synopsis[]
The Keanu Fallwind clone commits suicide by gunshot using his ARMS upon learning the truth of what he is from Jerusha/Filgaia and Gina Angel. Irving Vold Valeria has a similar breakdown as he learns that he was a Gene Driver created by ROOF all along. Though initially in histrionics, Gina and Lucied abscond with Sheyenne, taking him to a ROOF facility where the original Laila Margaret's consciousness is kept. Irving intercepts Gina here, and the Laila entity in the test tube activates "Twilight Venom", a hail of meteoric destruction on the planet. Irving attempts to kill Laila but fails miserably as her body takes on a liquid, protean form. Sheyenne persuades him to use his ARMS to stop Twilight Venom, and merges with Laila, reliving his memories as Keanu. He puts Laila's spirit to rest, angering Lucied who was feeding off of her strong desires. Irving's life gives out as he tries to shoot down the meterors, and Sheyenne attempts to do the same as he rushes outside with Dr. Kiel Aronnax, Issac, and the three treasure hunter girls who came to aid him. Kiel provides him with a larger ARMS, designed especially for Twilight Venom, and he is seemingly obliterated as he uses it to blast a hole in Faluna.
Some time later, Kiel is the best man at Issac and Jerusha's second wedding, only for Issac to receive a letter from her saying that she left him at the altar as she runs off with Loretta Oratorio and Mirabelle Graceland. Some time later, Gina is reunited with Sheyenne in an older, adult body.
