Homosexuality Controversy

Okay, enough of this. The idea that 'no where does it say that Brad isn't gay' is NOT proof that he is, nor does it make it 'canonical' that he is gay. This has never been more than wishful thinking by homosexual and shipper fans of the series, and has never, once, been backed up in any official manner. Since this wiki sticks with the official rulings and information on characters and their bios, the stance is simply that Brad has not shown romantic tendencies except for the female character mentioned ONCE, and that's it. Sorry. - Vanguard 13:28, September 27, 2009 (UTC)

Yet Again

I'm going to be cleaning up this talk page (largely due to the number of flames it has) in the near future. If there are any parts that the community feels needs to be kept or archived, just mention it here.-Vanguard 15:53, October 16, 2011 (UTC)

American Versions of Games Aren't Canon

In the NA version Brad's homosexuality was heavily downplayed. Play the Japanese version and I'll garuntee you'll be saying omg Brad's a flaming homo by the end of it. - 07:22, October 23, 2011 (UTC)Heeroneko

I've actually played the Japanese version with a literally-translated script while doing it (which can be fairly amusing in and of itself). While a lot of fans cling to the original translation of proof of Brad's canon homosexuality, it's basically just not true. The language through the ENTIRE GAME is extremely flowery, including Brad's, but there's still no ACTUAL indication of Brad's homosexuality (one way or the other) within it. As with the English version, you pretty much have to want to see it to accept it as canon, and the oddity that Brad and Kanon are the only two characters not 'paired up'. Word of God, though, only lists he and Billy as merely close comrades in arms. - Vanguard 12:18, October 24, 2011 (UTC)
