Class Description

The Strider (Japanese:ストライダー) is one of the general classes available to the player after completing Act 2-3. Striders are more or less archers; they have the highest AIM and CLM parameters of any class which allows them to pick off their opponents from high places. Unfortunately, when equipped with a bow they cannot attack any HEXes adjacent to them; their defenses are also low.

Original Commands

Original Commands are techniques that can be used in battle provided the needed requirements are met.

Swift Shock	Physical attack that raises the user's RFX until their next turn.	12
Drop Kick	Physical attack that gains strength when the target is at a lower height than the user. Ignores the "Flying" attribute.	20
Mesmerize	Reduces the AIM of targets within 3 HEXes of the user.	24
Trail	Causes the user to move toward the target each time the target moves.	8

Personal Skills

These skills activate automatically for units in the Strider class. When enough CSP is gained these skills can also be equipped by the unit even when it switches to a different class. The special skill is a special skill learned when the class is mastered.

Skill	Description
Strider OC	Allows the unit to use Strider Original Commands
Remove Trap	Prevents HEX traps from affecting the unit. Disables traps when the unit uses the wait command in a trapped HEX.
CLM Up	Raises the User's CLM parameter by 1
Strider EQ	Allows the unit to equip Strider equipment
AIM + 25%	Increases the unit's AIM parameter by 25%.
Critical Rate Up	Increases the chance of making critical hits.
Special Skill	Description
Sniper Shot	Increases the strength of critical hits and further increases the chance of making a critical hit.
