Shining Garden is an optional dungeon in Wild Arms 2.
Story[]
The Shining Garden is one of the Guardian Shrines, located in the northern part of the inner sea. It can be accessed only after the party rests in the inn of Guild Galad four times, and a woman tells them about the shrine.
The dungeon consists of several rooms which must be visited in a particular way, as hinted by a plaque at the entrance. Then, a password must be entered, as hinted by another plaque. At the end of the dungeon, there is a stone, touching which prompts the Guardian of Light, Stare Roe, to speak with the group and grant them his Medium.
Plaques[]
The order in which rooms must be visited as follows: westernmost, easternmost, then the single door the player came from. The password is written on the wall in large letters - "RAY".
- "The sun rises from the East, and sinks to the West, and then tomorrow comes. To those lost on the road, look back at the path you've come. The land you search for is here..."
- "The truth isn't always right before your eyes. Get away and look across for the truth desired to appear."
