Score Re;fire #1 ~WILD ARMS Vocal Songs Concert~and Score Re;fire #2 ~WILD ARMS Vocal Songs Concert 2019~ were a pair of performances held in celebration of the Wild Arms series 20th anniversary. The first event was at Kannai Hall in Yokohama on December 15, 2018[1] and the second was at Ichikawa City Cultural Hall on October 14th, 2019.[2][3] The latter event was a 3-hour concert, at which a live ensemble presented covers of songs from the two albums Alone the world: Wild Arms Vocal Collection and Milestone ~ Wild Arms Vocal Collection 2 fronted by singers Kaori Asoh and Kaori Oda (along with backup vocalist SAK),[4][5] as well as select pieces from the games' soundtracks such as "The Painted Future Set Upon an Easel" (from Wild Arms XF).[6] Series composer Michiko Naruke herself accompanied the group on a recorder during "The Person I Want To See The Most" and sang along to "Footprints" in-between intervals where she addressed the audience as mater of ceremonies and promoted Score Re;fire merchandise such as t-shirts, stickers, and pamphlets that included her own commentary. A YouTube channel and Twitter/X account were created to help promote the concerts.[7][8] The musicians had costumes and props with a Western theme, including ten-gallon hats, gun holsters, bandanas, jeans, and a fake revolver, and even the rehearsal set for the first event had a campfire.[9]
