In Wild Arms, Sandstag can be encountered around the desert area of Filgaia.

It usually attack alone. This creature is large, very reminiscent of a scorpion's mingling with a beetle's harness.

Its appearance is similar to the Antlion found in Pleasing Garden, having different colors and abilities.
