The Order of the Sacred Key, known in Japan as the Church of the Holy Key (聖鍵教会の), is an organization in Armed Fantasia. It's effectively the world's government.
Story[]
The Order was established almost 1000 years ago, as a church that worshiped the "Holy Maiden of the Blade" who is said to have saved the world from the "white darkness". Despite being a religious organization, very few people actually follow the order's faith, and it's mostly just a military organization.
The Order handles many duties, such as extermination of Anomalies, development of new ARMs, exploration of ruins, and retrieval of relics. To this end, it maintains both civilian employees, and knights, used as the Order's military force. The Order's main base of operations is known as the Sacred Citadel. Other inhabited areas are divided into districts, each of which is led by a "district sage". Nominally, the head of the Order is the Pope, but the seat has been vacant for a long time, and actual administration is carried out by several cardinals.

- The story of the "Holy Maiden of the Blade" is thematically similar to the story of the "Sword Magess" from Wild Arms 2.
