Nightburn Acklund is the top golem hunter and Dean's hero. He's earned the respect of the Veruni and considered their equal, a rare feat for a mere human. A legend among other golem hunters and the main spokesperson of the Golem Hunter's Guild. It is also known that he was once in love with a Veruni; Persephone's sister. Unfortunately Persephone's sister died 5 years earlier due to Filgaia rejecting her. This caused Nightburn to turn against humanity and sided with the Veruni in the destruction of the human race.
