Mimic

Mimic is a recurring enemy in the series, similar to Imitator.

Wild Arms 2[]

They can be found in any of the 4 Diablo Pillars, but only they appear by surprise. Equipping a Weathervane will this make your party unable to encounter them.

As usual in games of this style, the Mimic is nothing more than a chest with its own way that serves as a trap for travelers during the adventure, in Wild Arms 2 they have wheels which allow them to move around and from inside the chest two mechanical claws that use to attack opponents.

Wild Arms 3[]

Mimic are back in Wild Arms 3 and they can be found in The Unclean Mark, Mimics are one-time enemies that appear when you open certain treasure chests, and can be easily beaten by shooting over and over again. They are capable of doing a large amount of damage, so be careful!

Only appears when opening certain treasure chests. Very easy to kill, and required for the 320 chest EX File Key.

Say hi to the Mimic, probably the toughest non-boss enemy so far, but that's only because it has more HP than a regular enemy. Its Gimmick Hand attack is pretty decent too, but getting past it is just a case of blasting it until it falls apart.

The reward for facing it is rather nice - two Duplicators. The other chests also contain a Gimel Coin, three Lucky Cards and two Gella Cards.

Mimics aren't the only enemies in here, though they are the most notable. Pordages reappear and are trivial to deal with now.
