Trivia[]
- Melchom is a demon in Dictionnaire Infernal, a paymaster of Hell, hence the monster's association with money.
- A Lich is Old English for "corpse", which came to be the name for undead wizards in modern literature. In Wild Arms, however, usage of "Lich" seems to be a mistranslation of "Rich", as the monster lacks the Undead type, and grants more money that the regular Melchom. It's evidenced by the usage of "Rich" in Wild Arms 5.
