Martina Van Basten is a minor character in Wild Arms 3 involved with a sidequest that the player can undertake for an EX File Key as a reward. Martina leaves Claiborne in search of her sick mother Mileux after her wicked aunt Myra takes over the Horse Theft Saloon. The player must find Martina at each of the stops she makes and talk to her throughout the game, though her sidequest cannot be completed until the later chapters. She briefly appears in the game's epilogue scene regardless of whether the player has completed her sidequest or not, running from Romero Gigio and Dario Nicolodi in Little Twister and protected by the player party.

Martina shares a surname with Marco Van Basten, a member of the Fenril Knights from the original Wild Arms game and its remake Wild Arms Alter Code: F. However, there is no indication that they are directly related and the franchise does have a habit of recycling characters' names with such an example evident in this very game between Virginia Maxwell and Jane Maxwell.
