Marivel Armitage is a playable character in Wild Arms 2. She is a Crimson Noble, who first appears as an associate of Irving, and later can be optionally recruited as a party member.
Story[]
Wild Arms 2[]

Marivel is a Crimson Noble, who was a close friend of the Sword Maiden, and her ally in the war against Lord Blazer a thousand years ago. After the war, Marivel, the last known Crimson Noble, retreated to the Crimson Castle, rarely interacting with the outside world. She decided that she would no longer strike up friendships with humans, since she would outlive them anyway. Due to this, she often arrogantly boasts about her abilities and knowledge, likely in an attempt to drive people away, but in truth she's deeply lonely, and scared to make friends.
The party first meets Marivel in Damzen City, where she directs them towards Odessa's whereabouts. She's later revealed to be an associate of Irving, helping him in dealing with lost technologies. She later helps the party in fixing Kanon's cybernetics.
In truth, Marivel has already met Ashley in the past. When Ashley finds himself in the Memory Maze and explores it, accompanied by Anastasia and Lucied, the group meets Marivel, who initially mistrusts Ashley, before Anastasia assures her otherwise. As such, Marivel already knows Ashley thanks to this time loop. Following that, Marivel can be found in her castle, where the party convinces her to join forces with them. Her presence slightly alters some cutscenes and the game's ending.
Art of Wild Arms Bio[]
"Red-eyed Receptionist:" A red-eyed, pale-skinned immortal Crimson Noble. Close friends with Anastasia.
Wild Arms 3[]

Marivel as she appears in the books.
In Wild Arms 3, Marivel is mentioned in a series of books which describes her aiding a friend in the creation of a special flying machine. The books fulfill an optional side-quest when complete.
Wild Arms TV[]
In Wild Arms TV, Marivel Armitage (translated as "Miriabelle") is mentioned in The Day Of The Bacchus episode as the founder of the Crimson Noble race.
Wild Arms 5[]
Marivel has a cameo running the game's black market. In order to buy things from here you must trade in your character levels (by letting Marivel feed on you) in order to get rare and important goods. She's definitely pulling the full-on "Crimson Noble" here.
As Party Member[]
Marivel is the last character to join the party, and as such it will take some time to bring her in-line with the rest of the party. Marivel notably lacks weapons other than her starting one, but can permanently increase attack power of her drones by 20 with special items called "Mecha Boost".
Force Abilities[]
Marivel possesses four Force Abilities.
- Lv. 1 - Qubeley: Powerful mole-type attacker (Attacks all enemies, initial)
- Lv. 2 - Asgard: Type '3' heavy armor attack (Attacks all enemies, found in Crimson Castle)
- Lv. 3 - Lucifer (Attacks all enemies, found in Fab Science Lab)
- Lv. 4 - Asgard 2 (Attacks all enemies, found in Fab Science Lab)
Original Commands[]
Marivel's Original Command is "Red Power", which she learns by using her "Skil Drain" on certain enemies. However, these enemies are few and far between, and most of them require backtracking.
