Judecca Ducet (Japanese: ジュデッカ・デュセット)[1]is one of the primary antagonists of Wild Arms 2, a member of the terrorist group known as Odessa under the command of Vinsfeld Rhadamanthus. An ARM-wielding sadist who is potentially psychotic, Judecca is Odessa's assassin and an expert marksman who is willing to handle any and all dirty work Vinsfeld throws his way. He has little respect for humans, viewing them as nothing but toys to be played with and eventually broken.

As with the rest of the members of Odessa's Cocytus, Judecca gets his name from a section of the Divine Comedy named after Judas Iscariot, the figure in Biblical myth who betrayed his master Jesus Christ.[2] This may run parallel to how Judecca goes a bit rogue in his pursuit of violence and destruction, acting most like the very terrorist his group is supposed to be.

Wild Arms 2[]

Not one with any scruples, he has no problem in destroying ruins to trap characters, but also challenging them to one-on-one duels. When confronted about his callous and cruel methods upon his defeat, he committed suicide, shooting himself and falling from the tower. Judecca is almost certainly insane, made evident by his being able to act without any inhibitions, having intentions to crucify Lilka and Brad and shooting the warden of Illsveil dead for no reason.

Wild Arms TV[]

Judecca (renamed Judecca Dantes) enjoys a pretty solid role in the anime Wild Arms Twilight Venom. In the episode "Natural Born Angel" (Episode 15), he is an artificially-created Gene Driver created through ROOF's experiments. He is portrayed in a less psychotic manner, being more manipulative and cunning. His trademark glasses and use of ARMs, however, remains.

In the episode, he is attempting to kill another one of ROOF's Gene Driver experiments, Sybil, by tricking Loretta Oratorio into believing that she is a crest thief (therefore having our heroine do the dirty work for him). After an extremely tense standoff, Judecca is shot by Sheyenne Rainstorm in a duel, and then finally killed by Sybil as her last living act.
