Guilty or... (Japanese: ギルティ・オア…) is the tenth episode of the Wild Arms Twilight Venom anime.

Synopsis[]

The episode starts with Loretta and Mirabelle on their way to a place called "Prince's Hidden Door", which supposedly holds a treasure. Meanwhile, Sheyenne and Kiel lie tied-up in a middle of a desert. The scene shifts to the last night, when the two accidentally encountered a group of bandits, who were carrying a kidnapped family. Sheyenne tried to free them, but was ambushed, and had his ARMS stolen, with the two then being left to die. Back in the present, one of the kidnapped people, a girl, who managed to run away, shows up and frees them, before asking them to help her parents.

This night, the leader of bandits, Guilty, admires the trophy ARMS, while the kidnapped man is forced to solve some kind of puzzle, which would kill those who solve it wrong. Suddenly, bandits hear numerous gunshots. Believing to be under attack, they open fire, failing to notice that "attackers" are just cacti, and gunshots don't seem to hit anyone. Meanwhile, Sheyenne, Kiel, and the girl sneak past bandits, into the cavern. In the cavern, the girl reunites with her parents, and the man tells that he used to be a member of the gang, but tried to start an honest life. However, he was kidnapped and force to solve a deadly puzzle under threats to his family.

Meanwhile, the bandits finally notice that "gunshots" were just Issac trowing bullets into fire, and, realizing that they've been deceived, rush back to the cavern. They pin down the group with gunfire, knowing that Sheyenne has a normal gun with limited ammo. However, Issac manages to find the ARMS and deliver it to Sheyenne, who then shoots the ceiling, preventing bandits from reaching them. The man successfully solves the final puzzle, opening the door... That was being probed by Loretta and Mirabelle. Sheyenne then tricks them into going further into the cavern, where they are met by furious bandits, who comically chase after them.
