Griffin in Wild Arms
Griffin (Gryphon in Wild Arms 2) are enemies that appears in some Wild Arms games

They can be found around the Court Seim Area.
They are creatures that resemble a bird, its face is like an eagle, and its body structure is like an ostrich but with thicker and firmer legs, its feathers are orange and its white paws.
Its appearance is similar to the Sand Beast found in around the Ship Graveyard desert area, having your different colors and abilities.

Gryphon in Wild Arms 2
In the second game they are called Gryphon and can be found in Outer Sea (South of Monster Island).
Slender, pompous winged creature with, yellow, and blue feathers, its expression and face resemble that of an eagle despite having some humanoid traits, especially in the way it stands upright during combat.
His in-game model is the same as Axe Beak previously found in Inner Sea.
His Monster Card Shop number is 161.

Griffin can be found in Fortune Gear.
The best way to down a Griffin is to have Jet use Accelerator on the first turn of battle to attack first and hopefully kill it. If not, Virginia's Inspire spell might do a bit extra damage to help you out. Don't cast Vortex on them; they're strong against it.
