Lyrics to "Funeral Procession" sourced on the far left of the "milestone" album booklet.
Funeral Procession (Japanese:葬列, Souretsu) is a song from Wild Arms and it's remake Wild Arms Alter Code: F, playing during the cutscene where the King of Adlehyde's funeral happens in the story. A shorter, instrumental-only version of the song plays whenever all the characters in the party die and player gets game over. In the original Wild Arms game, that song is called Defeated (Japanese:敗退) and in the remake it is called The Silent You (Japanese:沈黙する君), with both being played in a different key than Funeral Procession. While the version used in Alter Code: F includes lyrics, the song's vocals (provided by Kaori Asoh) are never heard in-game, though they can be heard on the Milestone ~ Wild Arms Vocal Collection 2 album as well as the Wild Arms Alter Code: F Original Score. The original track for the original game is included on the Wild Arms Complete Tracks album. On both soundtracks, this song was composed by Michiko Naruke, but the WA:F version was mixed by Akiko Nakamura.[1]
