Force Gauge (FG) is a mechanic in the Wild Arms series, featured in all games in the main series. It acts as a secondary "mana" system, and can be expended in order to use certain abilities.
Overview[]
The Force Gauge always has the capacity of exactly 100 Force Gauge Points (FGP). In most games, it's marked up into segments of 25 FGP each. The Gauge is usually filled by receiving damage and ending the character's turn. The Gauge can be spent on Force Abilities, which most commonly cost a multiple of 25 FGP.
In Wild Arms 1-3[]

The lower number next to the gauge tracks Virginia's FGP. The gauge is just a visual indicator.
In the first half of the series, each character has their own Force Gauge.
In Wild Arms, reaching 100 FGP activates "Condition Green", which cures any negative status effects.
In Wild Arms 4-5[]

Each red crystal is equal to 25 FGP, while blue energy tracks the progress of the next 25 FGP. In total, the party has roughly 88 FGP.
In the second half of the series, the Gauge is shared by the whole party. In exchange for the lower total amount of FGP, it's easier to build up.
