The Fenril Knights (Japanese: フェンリルナイツ)[1] were the protectors of the Kingdom of Arctica. There were seven of them, and they all had a title, named after the following armour pieces and weaponry:

"Fenril" is actually a mistranslation of the word "Fenrir", being a reference to a monstrous wolf in Nordic mythology named as such.[2] While the error carried over from the first game into its remake, Wild Arms Alter Code: F, the adaptive writers of future Wild Arms games would go on to correct this mistake, as can be seen in Wild Arms 5's "Black Fenrir" and "Twin Fenrir".

Alhazad and Zeikfried are responsible for the deaths of most of the knights, with the former especially driving Garret away from the castle and transforming Elmina into Lady Harken.
