Dario Nicolodi is a supporting antagonist in Wild Arms 3, a pretty unknown thief in Filgaia. He follows Janus Cascade and Romero Gigio around the wasteland, fighting, stealing and pillaging. Dario has a classic Black Bart look to him, but his actions belie his appearance, and he is every bit as much of a coward as Romero, which also results in him being abused by Janus. Dario attacks with a Gillius TH12/23, which resembles a Dirty Harry type magnum. He also has a bad habit of leaving his fly undone...

When Janus had obtained all three shields, Dario and Romero were swept away in the wind, and were both presumed dead. But at the end of the game, they are seen in Little Twister.

Train Janus, Romero, Dario (1º Battle)[]

  • HP: 300
  • EXP: 16
  • Gella: 50
  • Halved: NONE
  • Resistant: NONE
  • Weakness: NONE
  • Active: NONE
  • Absorbed: NONE
  • Dario's Attacks:
  • Gillius GS12/23 (physical)
  • Zips Up (increases his attack; only works once)
  • Trinity (big damage to 1 character, requires all three of them to use)

On the first turn, Janus and his cronies will ALWAYS use Trinity, which will deal triple digit damage (about 100 or more) to one person. Romero will then Lose Nerve, and Dario will Zip Up. The person hit by Trinity will be bruised up a bit, so have Gallows heal him the next turn.

Janus must be defeated first; if you attack anyone but him, he instantly heals his cronies for 200 HP. So use the first few turns attacking Janus only to get your FP up, and sooner or later, he'll split. That's the end of the Trinity attack!

Now it's time for the other two. Use a Gella Card on Dario to get some extra cash (Romero has no money), and have Virginia Mystic a Lucky Card for more EXP at the end of the fight (do this BEFORE killing Janus if you can). Don't worry about using Lucky Cards and Gella Cards; you get plenty, so use one Lucky Card per boss battle, and one Gella Card per boss per battle. Romero and Dario are ridiculously easy on their own, despite what their little speech leads you to believe. So have some fun with them.

Ruins of Memory (2º Battle)[]

  • HP: 490
  • EXP: 56
  • Gella: 125
  • Halved: NONE
  • Resistant: NONE
  • Weakness: NONE
  • Active: NONE
  • Absorbed: NONE
  • Dario's Attacks:
  • Gillius GS12/23 (physical attack)
  • Zips Up (increases his DEF, only works once)
  • Trinity (big physical damage to one, can only be used if all three are alive)

How To Win:

This fight is a little different from last time. Rather than Janus healing his allies if you hit them, you cannot hurt Janus until you take down his cronies (they will jump in front of him and reduce the damage). Your best bet is to defeat Dario first (he's stronger), then Romero. Spend a turn to Mystic a Lucky Card. Use Extension - Heal if the Multiblasts start to wear you down. Just keep attacking, and you'll do fine. You might want to cast Fragile on Janus to wear his DEF down. In fact, you really should cast Fragile on EVERY boss from now on; as DEF scores get higher, Fragile always reduces DEF to half, and that gets to be a LOT for some bosses.

Serpent Coils (3º Battle)[]

  • HP: 910
  • EXP: 48
  • Gella: 52
  • Halved: NONE
  • Resistant: NONE
  • Weakness: NONE
  • Active: NONE
  • Absorbed: NONE
  • Romero's Attacks:
  • Throwing Star (physical attack),
  • Loses Nerve (increases his EVA, only once)
  • Trinity (big physical damage to one, can only be used if all three are alive)
