The Council of Seven (Japanese:七人委員会) were a group of scientists in the story of Wild Arms 3 who were researching the Yggdrasil system. While there had been many different generations of changing members over a century, the final seven were Werner Maxwell, Leehalt Alcaste, Melody Vilente, Malik Bendict, Elliot Enduro, Duran Bryant and Pete Inkapilia. Due to the interference of the Dream Demon Beatrice prior to the beginning of the game, at least half of the members of the council perished and the current state of the world of Filgaia is that of a harsh and desolate wasteland; the surviving members became the Prophets, while Werner's consciousness manifested a physical existence via a terminal of Hyades.
