In Wild Arms 4 Ape Man Junma appears as the opponent in a challenge of the Battle Arena in Guara Bobelo, "Yulie vs. The Simian Sprite!". Yulie fights it alone. In battle, it uses a powerful Water magic "Hydro Pressure" and melee attacks. Yulie is unable to deal meaningful damage to it with normal attacks, so the best strategy is to abuse its Water weakness with Yulie's Material Force Ability. The monster's opening Hydro Pressure attack can be negated by going first (can be achieved by equipping the Tiny Flower Badge) and using Replace to teleport to the Water Ley Point, thus gaining partial protection from Water.
