Amengard (Armen Guard in WAACF, Armengard in WA3) is a minor character that appears is Wild Arms 3, Wild Arms Alter Code: F, and Wild Arms 4.

Overview[]

Amengard is a young girl, who tells various short tales and "sayings". The story she tells is actually based on the console's internal clock, with one tale per every day of the year. As she says herself, she has exactly 366 tales, including one for February 29.

Amengard's stories are generally short and weird. She references details in both current and previous games, but her stories are often completely nonsensical, and sometimes she even contradicts herself. As such, nothing said by her is generally accepted as anything beyond a reference or a joke.

Wild Arms 3[]

Armengard as she appears in Wild Arms 3

In Wild Arms 3 Armengard can be found in Boot Hill, walking around the graveyard. In this game, her theme is "holidays". She tells the current date and which "holiday" it is. Almost all of these "holidays" are made-up, serving only as a set-up for a joke or a bizarre story.

Wild Arms Alter Code: F[]

In Wild Arms Alter Code: F "Armen Guard" can be found in Rosetta Town, behind the inn, in a cave closed by a destructible wall. In this game, her theme is "sayings". She tells a supposed saying and explains its meaning. Most often, it's also made-up or grossly misinterpreted. She seems to have reddish hair in this entry of the series, whereas she is blonde in every other game she appears in.

Wild Arms 4[]
