Akifumi Kaneko (Japanese: 金子彰史)[1] is a Japanese game developer and the lead designer and screenwriter for the Wild Arms series up to Wild Arms 5, where he is credited as the producer[2], and only as screenwriter on Wild Arms XF[3]. Kaneko left Sony to form Wild Bunch Productions and became the lead designer and screenwriter of Armed Fantasia[4].
